Super Light
The Super Light pod is composed of steel profiles assembled by only mechanical fixings without the need for welding.
The latest Bathsystem Pod has enriched the product range with a pod that perfectly responds to the demanding market for lighter structures particularly in high rise buildings.
The structure of the bathroom unit is made of lightweight galvanized steel sections and the wall thickness is 75 mm.
The steel frame is clad internally with 15 mm thick Fermacell boards and the external face is ready to receive insulation and plaster board. Holes for services as well as door and window openings are made according to the project design and the customer's requirements. The shell is manufactured in line with the regulations for prefabricated lightweight concrete units and cannot be used as a load bearing element. The fire rate is 30 min. The floor can be made in two different materials: in lightweight concrete – 1600 kg/m3 - placed on rubber mats of 12 mm thickness to assist the acoustic insulation or with a sandwich panel – 12 mm thick, 330 kg/m3 – placed directly to the floor to guarantee a perfect adhesion.
